Cologne's coterie is not evil

A documentation by Nicolas Kremershof. An elderly woman and landlady has just a single bin for a group of units. A second bin would cost money. So our lady prefers to tip the rubbish collection workers to make them take all the plastic bags full of garbage as well as the single bin – and everyone is happy. This kind of coterie happens everywhere, where people adapt to the rules and in Cologne it even gained its own form and its own name: Klüngel. In Cologne, Klüngel is a system of give and take, to help each other over the hurdles of life. That starts smallish and just between neighbours and ends in massive cases of corruption of huge dimensions. With this newspaper Nicolas Kremershof documents several cases of Klüngel and corruption from Cologne.
