"Making Crises Visible" is an experiment that has never existed in this form before.
On February 11, 2020, Angela Dorn, Hessian Minister for Science and Art, opened the exhibition in the ballroom of the Senckenberg Research Institute. Researchers from the Leibniz Research Association and art students as well as lecturers from the Art Department of the HfG Offenbach have been engaged in an intensive dialogue on "Crises in a globalised world" for more than a year. The results can be seen from 12 February to 2 June 2020 at the Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt. This interdisciplinary discussion is a new model for teaching at an art academy and for the presentation of science. The aim of this exhibition is to exemplify a constructive awareness in dealing with crises. To understand the nature of crises and, above all, to make them directly tangible. www.makingcrisesvisible.com
